Why choose Verton

Built around how contractors actually bid

Your estimate is only as good as the process behind it. Ours is designed to be checked, explained, and repeated.

  • Detailed takeoffs

Quantities measured sheet by sheet with scale checks, so your pricing starts from real numbers.

  • Transparent project review

Before we start, you see the scope we'll price, the questions we have, and the delivery date.

  • Professional deliverables

Editable Excel estimates, color-coded markups, and clean summaries ready for your proposal.

  • Responsive communication

One point of contact for questions, clarifications, and addenda throughout the project.

  • Reliable workflow

A documented process with a second-review quality check on every estimate before delivery.

Our process

From request to final delivery in five steps

Every project follows the same documented path, so you always know what happens next and when your estimate will arrive.

  1. 01

    Request a quote

Send a short request through our quote form, then email your drawings or share a download link.

  2. 02

    Project review

An estimator reviews the documents, confirms scope, trades, and level of detail, and lists any questions about the drawings.

  3. 03

    Receive proposal

You get a written proposal with scope, deliverables, fee, and a delivery date confirmed for your project.

  4. 04

    Estimating & quality check

We complete the takeoff and estimate, then a second review checks quantities, pricing, and assumptions.

  5. 05

    Final delivery

You receive the editable estimate, marked-up drawings, and summary, and we answer follow-up questions.

BIM modeling

See the building before it's built

FAQs

Questions contractors ask before sending plans

Can't find your answer? Our full FAQ covers drawings, pricing, deliverables, and revisions.

All FAQs

What drawings do I need to send?

Send the most complete set you have: architectural, structural, civil, and MEP sheets, plus specifications and addenda if available. PDFs work best. We'll tell you during review if anything is missing that affects the estimate.

How is pricing determined?

Project-based estimates start at $400. The final fee depends on project size, number of trades, drawing completeness, and the level of detail you need. You receive a written proposal with the fee before any work starts.

How long does an estimate take?

Turnaround depends on the size and complexity of the project. We confirm a delivery date in writing after reviewing your drawings, so you know exactly when to expect it.

Are revisions included?

Revision terms are stated in each proposal. Typically, corrections to our own work are included, while drawing changes or addenda issued after delivery are quoted based on their scope.

What will I receive?

Most estimates include an editable Excel workbook, color-coded marked-up drawings, a summary by CSI division or trade, and a written list of assumptions and exclusions.

How do I request a quote?

Fill in the short quote form. We reply by email, and you can send your plans then. We review them and send a written proposal.
